Owner of the largest and most popular tavern in Rubilykskoye, Nikita was initially suspicious of the Void-touched who came to Rubilykskoye, especially those with incredible powers. However, from getting to know them in her tavern, Nikita has come around and believes they are vital to the survival of Rubilykskoye-- perhaps even more vital than the Duchess herself. Along with Ksenia, Nikita leads the Blackguard faction, a political group that advocates for the rights of the Void-touched... and perhaps sees them as religious figures fit to replace the Duchess.

Owner and operator of the general store, Ivica controls the ebb and flow of goods in Rubilykskoye, which places her in a position of great influence in Rubilykskoye's traditional barter economy. Ivica is vivacious, outgoing, and friendly-- or she was, until trauma soured her positive disposition. Initially welcoming of the Void-touched, her personal experiences with them (one of her past employees letting incredibly dangerous power loose on Rubilykskoye, and her own murder at the hands of Void-touched) have been uniformly negative. Surviving the only way she knows how means joining the Zlatniki faction, a political group concerned with eradicating the Void-touched's presence from Rubilykskoye. She is uninterested in the violence the Zlatniki sometimes indulge in, favoring community organizing to block Void-touched's access to employment, supplies, and legal justice.
